The Kjus Speed Racer is a fully functional ski jacket for boys, designed for fast skiing on the slopes.

The jacket uses as an insulating layer the exclusive stretch insulation Kjus FAST Thermo Core™ with an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio and the ability to recover its shape when stretched. This solution results in a lightweight but still warm and flexible with a memorable shape. In general, the entire outer fabric and the fleece lining are made of an extremely stretchable knit fabric providing full freedom of movement in every direction.

The jacket has a membrane with high waterproof and breathability parameters. Additional protection against moisture is provided by the DWR treatment of the outer fabric, as well as taped seams and laminated waterproof YKK® zips. As a result, in combination with the insulating material, the jacket helps to maintain optimal comfort, thermal performance and freshness.

The jacket has two hand pockets and one inner chest pocket, all zipped. On the sleeve you will find a compartment for a ski pass, fastened with Velcro®. At the same time, an additional internal mesh pocket allows you to store extra gloves, warmers or a hat.

The jacket has adjustable cuffs and the bottom of the jacket, protected by an additional snow belt with press studs. The detachable hood with visor can be easily adjusted for a better fit and the chin guard has a wind shield. This set of features perfectly protects children in winter weather conditions.

The pre-shaped, sewn-in sleeves with integrated hand protectors with thumb hole hold them in place and keep them warm. The adjustment of the bottom of the cuffs itself is carried out by means of Velcro®.

A very interesting solution used in this jacket is the sleeve extension system. The growth cuffs consist of two parts with a length of 2.5 cm, i.e. in total they can be extended by 5 cm.
